I received several heart-breaking emails from Ridgefield residents today. All being very concerned abouty a possible closure of the Children's Corner.
I absolutely emphasize with your frustration, since I am also a working parent. However, I assure that the present members of the Board will take their time to choose the most feasible and logical solution with the least amount of damage to all the working parents.
One thing I can suggest at this point is that while the Children's corner might not be at the present location, there are different locations in Ridgefield, where they could continue and serve the community.
Please come to the next BoE meeting on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 7:30 pm in order to make a public comment.
